DESCRIPTION:

Day 1 - Arrival at Blaise Diagne airport in Dakar.

After border procedures, our staff at the airport will escort us to our vehicle. Transfer to Saly and installation in our hotel.

Day 2- SALY in PC

BREAKFAST. Free day to rest and enjoy the facilities of our hotel and the beach. The coastal resort of Saly also offers us a varied range of activities for those who wish, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing or quad biking. 

Day 3 - EXCURSION TO BOOKING BANDIA by PC

BREAKFAST and departure for the Bandia reserve, this reserve is a small natural park located about 30 minutes from the Saly Portudal resort, a microsystem in which you can see an infinity of trees and flora typical of the Sahel region as well a representation of the most important fauna of West Africa (buffaloes, gazelles, giraffes, rhinos,  ostriches, baboons and up to twenty different species).

Day 4 - EXCURSION TO JOAL FADIOUTH by PC

BREAKFAST. During this day we will take an excursion to the village of Joal Fadiouth, a town discovered by the Portuguese in the 15th century and which they described as a "pleasant place with lots of groceries and palm wine", we will admire its old houses right between the sea and its marshes combed by hundred-year-old baobabs. This village is also the birthplace of the famous poet and former president of Senegal, Leopol Sedar Senghor. Visit of the Catholic mission and the singularly beautiful cemetery. Return to our hotel in Saly. Day 5 - 6 and 7 SALY in PC

BREAKFAST. Free days in PC mode, who wishes can rent one of the excursions that we represent as an option.

Day 8 - GOREA EXCURSION - DEPARTURE

BREAKFAST. Last day on African soil, we will have time to enjoy the beach before leaving for Dakar. We go to the pier to take a ferry that will take us to the island of Goré, walking tour through its colonial streets and visit the shocking house-museum of slaves, this amazing enclave has been declared a historical heritage by Unesco . Its flourishing past, thanks to the "slave trade", and its slightly more decadent present will captivate us. Lunch on the island included and return to Dakar, at the agreed time transfer to the airport to take our return flight.
